Lesson #10 / Beginning-Middle-End

We started with an image.  We came up with a sentence which described the image.

I
In this case...the sentence we chose was... The poor woman rocked her son to sleep.  It was our MIDDLE sentence.

Then we came up with a BEGINNING  sentence.   A tornado ripped through the farming town.

Then we came up with an ENDing sentence.  She thanked God that they were safe.

We added a few more thoughts using the 5 W's & How.  Who/What/When/Where/Why/How

Before you knew it...we had a sweet little story.

And it all started when we considered an image.

The giant sneezed.

Our MIDDLE sentence.

We added a BEGINNING sentence.  The lonely giant peeked through the window and watched the family at play

We added an ENDing sentence.  They realized he was friendly and went outside to climb on him.

We added a few more thoughts using the 5 W's & How.  Who/What/When/Where/Why/How

Before you knew it...we had a sweet little story.

And it all started when we considered an image.

HOMEWORK:

Dress-Up the above 2 stories with at least one SV, QA, and "ly" word.  Underline or highlight all of your additions.

Draw pictures of the BEGINNING and END (not absolutely necessary but ideal.)
